Update: I tried the vicks plug-in thing and good old baby vicks rubbed in the chest/back/neck (couldn’t find a triaminic patch). I also took the advice of a coworker and raised the head of Maddie’s crib about an inch and a half. She slept like a dream. Whether it was the remedies or the fact that she was exhausted from the previous bad night, I’m not sure. Nonetheless, thanks everyone for the help.

Wow. I am amazed you found out only so recently. You touch on many topics I think about all the time for PunditGirl. Of course, we have talked about her adoption story since she was a baby, but since she was born in China, unless the Chinese government starts allowing DNA testing and now-anonymous birth parents come forward, we will never know her birth parents’ identities. I’m actually working on trying to get as much information for her as we can, but to say it’s difficult in her situation is an understatementI would SO love to talk with you more about this.
